Direct your heartfelt appeals to DasWauto .

There is no appeals mechanism though, is there? No way to message someone other than find a post/comment and reply to it.

Shoot, I keep forgetting that OppositeBlog exists. Were we supposed to be nominating our best posts for consideration? I haven’t been doing that.
Anyway, I’m g onna have to bookmark that now, so I don’t forget. It’s getting harder to keep up with Oppo these days. W e’re up to, what, 100 posts per day now? I worry about missing out on great article s, especially when shitposts keep pushing them off of the first page .

I think it’d be helpful to have a tag for posts we’d like to have considered, but no, I’m not aware of anything we’re supposed to do as authors.
I just got spoiled by my previous long-form posts being pushed there, figured it couldn’t hurt much except my pride to ask.

Using the tag system isn’t a bad idea. We used the “ embiggen this ” tag earlier this year in a brief effort to help spotlight quality content. I don’t think it had anything to do with OppositeBlog though.
If we started doing that regularly, the embiggening might catch you some more attention, but it still won’t stop other posts from pushing it off of the first page of Oppositelock.
